It's Day 7 of the Whole30 and Kayla Itsine's Bikini Body Guide. I'm super tired after this whirlwind of a weekend. Like can't-move-tired. The 90+ degree heat here in Seattle isn't helping. Thank God I have AC. I managed to do my rounds of inner-city grocery shopping at City Target, Kress Supermarket, and Uwajimaya (an Asian supermarket). Each place has its strengths, and combined, it seems to work.
What did I eat today? Pineapple (shocker), Canteloupe, Scrambled Eggs, Whole Foods Salad (chicken/strawberries/beef/broccoli on it)
Why do I eat so much pineapple? First, Target sells huge fresh pineapples for $1.99 each, so that's a great deal. Second, it's like eating candy, so yeah, maybe I'm still stringing along my sugar habit. But at least it's natural sugar.
What's the cost of eating on the Whole30? It seems to be $50-60 per week. I'll try to pay closer attention.
What was my Kayla Itsine's workout? Rest day, bae! I still walked 6 miles.
How do I feel? Honestly, I feel I'm about to crack. I'm tired and this plan is giving me a stomach ache. Also, part of me feels like I failed because I dipped my steamed broccoli in light soy sauce without realizing I can't have anything soy-related. Whoops! Did I just ruin everything? Ah, I hope not. Hopefully tomorrow is better than today. Otherwise you can find me in the candy aisle with a big bag of 3 Muskateers.
